Four things we do before a single cut

Read these and compare them with the next quote you get. If a crew cannot show you a SWMS and a current certificate of currency, send them away.

SWMS before the saws start

We write a Safe Work Method Statement for the site, name the high risk activities, and read it with the crew at the tailgate meeting. You can ask for a copy before we book the date.

Site specific hazard list: power lines, pools, glass, pets, neighbours
Drop zone marked, exclusion tape and a spotter on the footpath
Rescue plan named, with a second climber briefed on aerial rescue

PPE we wear on every job

Nobody leaves the truck without the full kit. We inspect it weekly and replace anything cut, cracked or out of date.

AS 4373 pruning standard

We prune to AS 4373 pruning standards. That means correct cut placement outside the branch collar, no flush cuts, no stubs and no topping. City reviewers and insurers both check for it.

Wounds left clean and unpainted so the tree can seal them
